DEVOLVED: New Song Available For Download

August 18, 2004

A brand-new DEVOLVED track, entitled "Fractured", has been posted online in MP3 format at this location.

"Fractured" comes off the Australian tech-metallers' new album, "Calculated", which is now due for release in Australia on September 13 through Modern Music via Sony distribution. An international release date will be announced soon.

The follow-up to 2002's "Technologies", "Calculated" contains 12 tracks, including a cover of the METALLICA classic "Battery", and is being described by the band as "a step beyond anything we have written in the past in both intensity and complexity!"

As previously reported, DEVOLVED will be embarking on a national tour of Australia in October and November. The band will be playing in major cities, including Perth, as well as many regional areas. The tour will be the band's last live performances in Australia before they relocate permanently to the USA.
